Les Fallas d’Andorre<\/b> constituent une <\/span>tradition ancestrale <\/b>qu’un groupe de jeunes d’Andorre-la-Vieille s’est r\u00e9appropri\u00e9e en 1987.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Cette f\u00eate, tomb\u00e9e dans l’oubli au milieu du si\u00e8cle dernier, consiste \u00e0 br\u00fbler un brandon en buis garni d’\u00e9corce de bouleau, que les jeunes de chaque village, les fallaires, font tournoyer, en flammes, autour du b\u00fbcher. Une fois allum\u00e9s, les brandons, ou fallas, entrent dans la danse et tournent vertigineusement en dessinant de grandes roues de feu d’une plasticit\u00e9 et d’une attraction quasi hypnotiques.<\/span><\/p>\n

Aujourd’hui, les <\/span>Fallas<\/b> sont c\u00e9l\u00e9br\u00e9es dans diff\u00e9rents villages andorrans la nuit de la Saint-Jean, le 23 juin,<\/b> notamment \u00e0 Andorre-la-Vieille, Encamp, Sant Juli\u00e0 de L\u00f2ria, Escaldes-Engordany, Canillo i la Massana, ainsi que la nuit de la Saint-Pierre, le 28 juin, \u00e0 Ordino.<\/span><\/p>\n

La F\u00eate des Fallas se termine par l’embrasement du traditionnel feu de la Saint-Jean<\/b>, o\u00f9, bien s\u00fbr, les fallas ne manquent pas. \u00c0 Ordino, par exemple, les fallas se terminent par le Mai de Sant Pere (feu de la Saint-Pierre). En outre, pour initier les plus jeunes \u00e0 cette tradition, certains villages c\u00e9l\u00e8brent aussi les fallas de lumi\u00e8re, sous la forme de boules lumineuses que l’on fait tourner et qui changent de couleur.
