Abba Madrid renews its commitment to Action Against Hunger
Hotel Abba Madrid is joining the 16th edition of the “Restaurants Against Hunger” campaign, promoted by Action Against Hunger. Under the slogan “Nourishing Change”, this initiative invites restaurants, bars, and cafés across Spain to offer one or more solidarity dishes, donating part of their sales to support families in vulnerable situations.
The 16th edition of the campaign has brought together more than 360 participating establishments in Spain. Since its launch 16 years ago, Restaurants Against Hunger has united over 12,400 restaurants, bars, cafés, and hotels, raising more than 1.6 million euros for social causes throughout the country.
By taking part, Abba Madrid joins the largest solidarity initiative within the hospitality sector in Spain, helping turn each “dish with soul” into a real opportunity for change.

At abba Garden Hotel, we are once again renewing our commitment to the Torró Solidari initiative, promoted by RAC1 and Torrons Vicens. This charitable project has already raised nearly two and a half million euros to support research into rare childhood diseases at Sant Joan de Déu Hospital.
Thanks to this solidarity-driven effort, twelve new lines of research have been launched, bringing innovative solutions closer to children and families affected by rare conditions.
The Torró Solidari turns a simple act—purchasing a traditional Christmas sweet—into direct support for scientific progress. We are proud to collaborate once again and to help raise awareness of this meaningful cause among our guests and partners.

abba Hotels is a distinguished Spanish hotel group that, since its establishment in March 2000, has become a benchmark in urban hospitality. From its inception, the company has been guided by a clear vision: to provide service that is personable, efficient, and of the highest quality in major cities, underpinned by a team of seasoned professionals.
The company’s journey began when the founders established their headquarters in Pamplona and launched operations in their first three properties: two hotels in Madrid and one in Pamplona.
From the outset, the founders adopted a strategic approach to branding, selecting a name that would place the chain prominently in alphabetical listings within the sector. Thus, ABBA was created, a brand that is instantly recognisable. Its ethos is embodied in the motto, “A smile counts most” which remains at the heart of its service philosophy.
Over the first two decades, the chain’s expansion strategy consolidated its presence in key urban, business, and leisure destinations, including Barcelona, Bilbao, Burgos, Gijón, Huesca, Salamanca, Vitoria, and various locations across Cantabria. Simultaneously, the brand extended its reach internationally, establishing a presence in Andorra, as well as in markets such as Mexico and Chile.
Today, the group comprises 25 establishments offering approximately 1.800 rooms, spanning 14 destinations. Its portfolio includes properties in Spain’s principal cities, as well as in Andorra, Chile (Santiago and Puerto Montt), and Mexico (Playa del Carmen).
